Child Safety Standards
Operator: Yanza LTD
Platform: Karaty
Effective Date: September 30, 2026
Last Updated: September 2026
Karaty has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation ("CSAE"), including child sexual abuse material ("CSAM"). This page describes the standards we hold every user and community to, how to report a concern, and what we do when we receive one. These standards apply to the Karaty website, Progressive Web App, and iOS and Android apps.
1. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following is strictly prohibited on Karaty, in any Space, post, comment, profile, image, link, or direct message:
- Any content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors, including real, drawn, edited, or AI-generated imagery.
- Sexualized content involving minors, or content that sexualizes minors in any way.
- Grooming: befriending or contacting a minor with the intent of sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Sextortion, or soliciting sexual content from minors.
- Trafficking of minors, or advertising or soliciting minors for sexual purposes.
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to any of the above, including through external sites or services.
2. How to Report a Concern
In the app. Every post and comment on Karaty has a Report option in its menu. Choose the reason that fits best (for example "Illegal activity" or "Inappropriate content"). Reports go to our moderation queue and are reviewed by the Karaty team, not only by community moderators.
By email. You can report any child-safety concern, including one involving a user, a Space, or a direct message, directly to yanza.ltd@gmail.com. Please include a link to the content or the username involved. Do not attach, download, or forward the material itself.
Immediate danger. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In Israel, call the Israel Police at 100, or the National Child Online Protection Center ("מוקד 105") at 105.
3. How We Respond
Child-safety reports are treated as our highest priority. When we identify or are notified of content or conduct that violates these standards, we:
- Remove the content from Karaty as quickly as possible.
- Permanently ban the accounts involved and prevent them from creating new ones where we can.
- Preserve relevant information as required by law so it can be provided to the authorities.
- Report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the Israel Police and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
4. Prevention and Moderation
Users must be at least 13 years old to use Karaty, as set out in our Terms of Service. Content on Karaty is moderated by the Karaty team and by community moderators, who can remove content and ban users from their Spaces. Community moderators are required to escalate any child-safety concern to the Karaty team rather than handle it on their own.
We regularly review these standards and our moderation tools, and we comply with all applicable child-safety laws in the jurisdictions where Karaty is available.
5. Child Safety Contact
Our designated point of contact for child-safety matters, including questions about our CSAM prevention practices and compliance, can be reached at yanza.ltd@gmail.com.
